Directions to Everlasting Grace

From Chelmsford Town Centre

From the Army & Navy roundabout, Chelmsford .
Take the exit signposted to Chelmsford town centre
Go straight across the next roundabout (at the Meadows)
Get into the left hand lane at the next set of traffic lights
At the next roundabout follow the left hand lane round to the first exit
Follow the road under the viaduct
Go straight across the next two sets of traffic lights
At the third set of traffic lights turn left onto the A1060 signposted Sawbridgeworth and Roxwell (there will be a Chrysler garage on your left).
Follow the A1060 for approximately seven miles.
After the sign for Margaret Roding look out for the sign ‘The Reid Rooms' which will be a turning on your left when the road bends to the right.
Turn left at the sign for ‘The Reid Rooms' - this is Marks Hall Lane .
Carry along Marks Hall Lane for approximately 300 yards
Turn right (signposted ‘The Reid Rooms')
At the top of the driveway you will see some Tudor Barns
Turn left in front of these through a car park into a second larger car park
Park here and follow the signs for ‘Everlasting Grace'.

From London junction 28 M25 Brentwood

Take the exit signposted A12 Chelmsford
Follow the A12 and take the first exit signposted Chelmsford
The sliproad goes down a hill
Go straight across this roundabout and take the second exit (first exit is a golf club)
Continue along this straight road and take the second exit at the roundabout
Almost immediately there is another roundabout, take the first exit
Go straight across the next two sets of traffic lights
Further on you will pass a pitch and putt course on your left then a fire station on your right.
Go straight across the next set of lights and stay in the left hand lane.
Turn left at the next set of lights (there will be a Chrysler garage on your left).
This is the A1060 signposted to Sawbridgeworth and Roxwell
Follow the A1060 for approximately seven miles
When you come across the signs for Margaret Roding look out for the sign ‘The Reid Rooms' which will be a turning on your left when the road bends to the right
Turn left at the sign for ‘The Reid Rooms' - this is Marks Hall Lane .
Carry along Marks Hall Lane for approximately 300 yards
Turn right (signposted ‘The Reid Rooms')
At the top of the driveway you will see some Tudor Barns
Turn left in front of these through a car park into a second larger car park
Park here and follow the signs for ‘Everlasting Grace'.

From junction 7 M11 Harlow

Take the exit signposted Chelmsford A414
Continue along the A414 until you reach the ‘Four Wantz' roundabout at Ongar, there will be a BP garage in front of you
At this roundabout take the first exit signposted ‘Fyfield'
Follow this road all the way to the end - approx five miles
At the end turn right towards Leading Roding
At the mini roundabout turn right into A1060
Follow and look out for the Margaret Roding signs
Where the road bends to the left there is a right hand turn, which is signposted ‘The Reid Rooms' (a very small sign).
Turn right here into Marks Hall Lane
Carry along Marks Hall Lane for approximately 300 yards
Turn right (signposted ‘The Reid Rooms')
At the top of the driveway you will see some Tudor Barns
Turn left in front of these through a car park into a second larger car park
Park here and follow the signs for ‘Everlasting Grace'.

From Ipswich and Colchester

Take the A12 towards London and come off at the A120 at Marks Tey (signposted Stansted airport)
Follow the road for approximately nine miles) until you come to Braintree .
Stay on the Braintree bypass following signs for Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport
Stay on the A120 until you reach Great Dunmow. At the first roundabout turn left and go past a small industrial area on the right
Take the next turning on the right, the B184 signposted Ongar and The Rodings.
Go up the hill past the industrial area and take the next turning on your left (immediately on your right hand side will be The Kicking Dickie public house) and follow this road for six miles through High Roding and Aythorpe Roding.
At the mini roundabout with a car dealer and shop turn left onto the A1060 towards Chelmsford and follow for about a mile until you see the sign Margert Roding.
Take the first turning on the right signposted 'The Reid Rooms' - this is Marks Hall Lane . Continue for about 300 yards turning right into the Reid Rooms.
